Thank you. i did not build it. I bought it from someone in long island. A lot of people assume if reef, must have sump. i actually hate that part of this hobby, the plumbing.. the noise.. My new 17g mr aqua wont be reef ready. Im using a eheim surface skimming internal filter.

This item would be to big for that tank. I will measure when i get home.
