IO and RC

reef crystals and instant ocean. are they the same salt? by that i mean is instant ocean and reef crystals the same binders. If so there is no diffrence in the binder just more traces of MG, CA and Alk? i like to know if IO and RC can be interchangeable

is it worth it to get RC over IO? i know IO is the standard of most salt. seems RC is very unpopular over IO

Reef crystals has more additives. IO is more for just fish, RC is for reefs (of course) If you check the calcium on a fresh batch of IO, it's usually below 400. So it's worth it to go with the rc. My reef never looked as good as it did with reef crystals.
