and the top portion of the frag had fully closed polyps. i examined further and saw there was a whitish clearish almost feather duster thingy(very very small) growing in between a polyp or two. maybe that wat iritiated them. tried to remove but cant do it its to darn small and im like smooshing the polyps which i dont wanna do.
any avoce how to get rid of it

that should have any effect on the zoos. I have those tiny feather duster here and there.. They are too small to irritate them.. Did you actually see it irritate it when it comes out? Or you just guessing?

If your frag is fine and only the area this duster thing you have the zoos are closed or irratated ,its an aipataisa ,,if its a feather duster ,the zoos will over power it if its small,,and just open up fine

trying to take a pic now but i cant seem to understand how you guys get such clear shots of corals

evreything close up end up really blurry.

not sure how to take the so called"macro shots"

will kalking it effect the zoos, since it will be splurted directley into it.

and im not sure its an aptasia, it looks nothing like it, and its in a teen tiny tube, that it retracts into even when i put my hand over the tank

FWIW, I've had aipstasia right in the middle of zoa's and they haven't caused them to closed. Both the zoas and aipstasia opened up fine. Those tiny dusters won't cause any stress unless they come out in huge numbers. I've had those on my zoa's too and nothing. Its probably something else.

if in a tiny tube then is a duster ,and kris if the aiptaisa ia in the middle look closly at the zoos they are affected they might be open but look at the skirts on the zoos around the aipataisa
