Is anyone running a midwest aquatic DiNitrator?

After seeing the "nitrates" post and hearing about the aquaripure dinitrator, I did some research and found that Midwest Aquatic (www.midwestaquatic.com) offers a similar product as well. I have found one for half the price of the aquaripure. I was wondering if anyone is currently running this on their system or has used it in the past?

I am running a midwest unit(sulfur)....it is great and definitely works...it is a little overpriced...try to find a used one or make one yourself....

I found one on craigs list for $200, what do you think? Is that overpriced for a unit that is a year old?

I have one also but never set it up sits here and collects dust lol. But I bought it reading a ton of good things about it

That is a good price.....for the xl unit...which is close to $500.....

yes it is if i was to sell mine i would sell it for 275 but then again mine is never been used

Just curious, is there any reason you have never used it?

Yeah I tested one day and my trates were threw the roof so I bought it. But when I tested with a new test kit my trates were 0. So I never had a need for it. I never tried to sell it because I figure I bought it already i might as well keep it just incase. But now w/ the new tank I have the trates are 0 so I might sell it to buy some new stuff for the tank
