i got 2 Debelius reef lobster / Enoplometopus debelius for 1 year. they are totally peaceful and reef safe. but my 1 sixline wrasse and 1 yellow watchman was lost before. i m not sure but some sources says they can eat fishes.
what do you think about? are they killing fishes?

a good rule of thumb is- anything that looks predatory(big scary claws) probably is.
i have no doubt that a reef lobster can, and most likely will grab sleeping fishes if they are small enough.

thank you..

The Reef Lobster is described as peaceful, and it will ignore sleeping Wrasses or healthy fish within the aquarium. Caution must be taken when incorporating into a reef aquarium, as it may harm small fish and invertebrates. All Reef Lobsters are very territorial and aggressive towards each other, so only one specimen, or a mated pair should be kept per tank.

mostly sources says this. but i m not sure. for example i got 2, they are not mated. but they are peaceful to eachother. and i dont know my wrasse and goby losts because i got a dottyback that very aggresive and he could be kill them.

i am asking to be sure, cause i wanna a new gobbies and wrasses

Lobsters are all opportunistic. Usually, they won't predate fish. But if they get a chance to, they wouldn't pass up on the offer. I've seen other tropical lobsters catch small gobies.

How about slipper lobsters? Are they reef safe? I have read that some species are known to eat clams is there a simple way to identify them?
