Is this a pest?

I have what looks loke a millipede walking on the inside of my tank. What is it and should I take it out. Any help would be greatlt appreciated.

If you have one, you probably have dozens. They're beneficial to your reef tank.

I tried taking a picture, but it is only about 1 inch in length and thin as a thread.

Here's a pic with some smaller sized bristleworms in it. Most important thing is..did it look like it had 'tufts' of white tuft looking things on it's sides at regular intervals?

That sounds like it. I have never seen it during the day. At the point when I saw it the light was out.

They're unsightly but they aerate my sand so I'm happy about that.
