So I had a seperate 150 build going for a little over a year and a freak accident forced me to make moves and make them quick. Ill put it like this. My reef and cichlid tank was in my living room in my parents house & I live in a apartment at my parents house.

Two seperate Heating pipes burst in the living room of my parents house causing a huge flood destroying the hardwood floors & sheetrock.
I was forced to expedite my 150 build. I had exactly 1 day to break down my 95 reef and cichlid tank, bring the reef downstairs to my apartment in a holding tank while I complete my 150. I borrowed a 75 gallon and transfered everything into it.

Well that tank leaked all over my new floor in my apartment. Ruined about 4-6 pieces of new laminate flooring. Forced to take action and get a 60 gallon pond from lowes in the snow and scrub the sticker from the inside of the tank. Transfered everything into that. Kept that up and running for 2 wks while I finish the 150. Level out the tank, finish plumbing, test the plumbing, fix the leaky unions (lack of Orings) and run it. Ran good so then dumped in 200lbs of fiji pink sand and from there it was history. Just need to finish my mount for my new AI vega colors and hang them, pop 2 fans in the side of the stand, hook up my reefkeeper and get some base live rock to bring up the height. Check it all out and let me know what you think..

It was quite the experiance to say the least. I was fortunate to have excess funds to buy all the equipment I needed otherwise I probably would have given up. So now I have 3 x 44 gallon brute pails with the dollys and lids, 1 x 30 gallon brute, 1 x 20 gallon brute, 3 eheim heaters, 2 x mag 5 pumps and a whole lot more. Time for a for sale thread!!! Will continue to post updates as the build continues...

Thank you. It was my first time plumbing a tank and plumbing in general. I am going to upgrade my external pump to the reef octopus diablo dc pump so I can control the flow. I have two reactors that will be installed soon so I could use some extra flow. Right now its a iwaki 40rdxt.
