I did quite a bit of subtitling for Dragonball, DBZ, and some GT. I like the DB's subtle jokes, and the directing of DBZ in building the concept of power.
I like Gundam models not the anime. I like Akira and Battle Crusier Yamato's music. Peacock King's story line and the horrific scenes of the Overfiend. Except the final movie, I especially like the directing of Evangelion(how he build sense of urgency when the control center always have to run the the 10 secs countdown for the last defense to be destructed or the weapon power will be up to vaporize the enemy). I even use their "Final Battle" music in a lot of my shows and people recognize it well. LOL. Many audience will come up and ask, "Is that the Evangelion song?"

American Chinese Museum have me listed as the pioneer of DraganBall culture in US and displayed couple DragonBall Z arts in my stores for some tourist festival years years back. That's how much I am into Japanese anime.

every one I know is into bleach lol it is the new fave with naurto. I like gundam00. Bleach is of course amazing. I never got into naurto, because I was to busy watching Inu-yasha which I downloaded. What about video games I have gundam dynasty w. 2 and the game is sweet for ps3 I know they released it for the ps2. There is another series called ghost which is nice and still running in japan now. :shhh:

Ghost -07? They can make anime based on anything religion,demons, romance and they get you stuck watching it lingering for the next episode. I got started watching heroic age and finished it all in one day

When I had room-mates we used to all watch Dragonball, DBZ, and GT (which was only available subbed then). I haven't watched anime in a good 8-9 years.. My girl is not into it

I perfer it subbed anyway, I think Basilisk and berserk where my fav
