Jebao DC Pump Question

For those that are running these DC pump specifically Jebao pumps. Do they sell a filter pad to prevent anything returning back to the DT? Or did anybody build something to put on the pump itself? I have pieces of cheato going back up to my DT through my return pump. Every now and again I have to pluck it out.

Some of them come with a screw on plastic screen/cover. I think at first they didnt as my original one did not but the one I just got for my new build has one.

yea mine didn't come with a cover. I've been searching online but dont see to find anybody that's selling that part separate

Atleast im not the only one with this issue. Ive been trying to figure out a good way to keep the cheato in the sump.

yea they need to build a filter sponge for the intake on these pumps

My dc6000 came with the plastic grate/cover. Try eBay, I've seen a lot of Jebao equipment parts for pumps and skimmers. If anything, try and contact the seller that's selling the individual parts and he could probably get what you're looking for.

It would be nice if there was one available, and you would think there would be. If not DIY no? Not so long ago thats how this hobby was.

I have the plastic great cover it came with, but the strans still go threw. Only thing I can think of is putting filter padding in or over the housing.

You could put a media bag over it with a draw string, if you have one.
