Just brought frag tank want is the best filter for it

hi just brought get frag tank getting ready to set it up this weekend just like to know what you think is the best filter for it? It is 24 high 16 wide and 7 high its like 12 gallons. I dont want to connect it to my main tank. Thank you

You really dont need a filter ,just use a very good skimmer and some live rock rubble and a good amount of flow and you should be good to go.

i assume your going BB (bare bottom)? will it be plumbed into an existing sump? if not u can use a HOB (Hang on back) something like an emporer 200-400. They work pretty well for floating detrius, if you don't want anything on tank then u should run a sump on it with the normal stuff like macro algae and some rock. As well as a good skimmer especially if u plan on putting live stock in the tank like fish.
