The anemone got suck in my seio 820 i was so mad.
when too him out sum stuff came out and went into my water i looked like oil is this bad for my fish should i do a water change again last water change i did was on tuesday.

Sorry to hear that. Is it in pieces? Do a water change as long as your parameters check out. Proly except for nitrate. As long as everything checks out for the new water, calcium, alk, ph, temp keep doing one everyfew days.

there is no oil, probably some flesh in the powerhead spewing out. do a water change all should be fine

An anemone on the move is not a healthy one

If at any point you notice an anemone moving put it on 24 hour watch or you need try to find out why its on the move. The flow maybe too strong or the light maybe too little. They only move when they look for better conditions.

mike. if you think the anemone is beyond repair just throw it out. remove all pieces you see floating around and do a water change. adding carbon will help too. if the tentacles got ripped up then the stuff you see it spewing out could be the unicellular algae in the tentacles. if the foot was injured that would decrease the chances of survival.

I cant find pic and the video i have does not want to work

All i remeber is that he cost me $15 at H20 and he has purple tips


I had him in my tank since the 12/27/06 he was in one spot for about 2 weeks then the clown found out about him and he kept moving almost every week he will move
