I just moved to Manhattan from California. Before I left I sold everything. I am looking to start over and have a few questions. I want to get a big fish tank. Minimum 8ft long and 3 ft deep. What fish stores are in Manhattan? The only place I can find is Manhattan Aquariums. I didn't have time to get a car yet so driving is not a option. How do I get there? When should you take a taxi and when should you take a subway?

Who is a reliable store to order fish from. I want to make a list of want I want and give it to someone to order for me. I am going to start off with about 10 fish after the cycle. I can rent a zip car if needed. Lots of stores like to throw the line I can get you anything just let me know. It always turns out they can't get anything.

Where in manhattan are you located? MA is 37th and I believe 10th right by the jacob javits center.

I live on Central Park Street down the block from the museum of natural history. Is Manhattan Aquariums a good store to get a tank and equipment. It looks like a small store on their website.

I actually never used zip car before. Why wouldn't it work? Is it expensive? I have access to the companies account until I get a car I am not worried about price. I checked out the website and they seem to have vans.

Another question I have. Where can I get day laborers from? I will need like 4 guys to carry the tank, sand and rocks up to my apartment.

I would suggest visiting the stores available. Take a tour around the city and experience it. Go to MR vendor section and have fun.

There are a lot of nyc members so hopefully some will be willing to help out.

go and rent a U-Haul van its cheaper and if I was you and wanted to keep cost down alittle I would get avoid buying stuff in Manhattan its always more expensive. I recommend maxium reef now called aquarium tropical fish corp there prices r crazy

central aquarium corp is probably the best store in the metro area im sure that Ralph can order you a tank and deliver it for you he also has probably the largest selection of fish in the metro area at the best prices and loads of corals he is located in the bronx a short ride from were you are
