I wanted to post this awesome activity I just witnessed with my snow onyx pair. Ever since I had my pair in my new tank, they have been hosting the corner of the tank which makes sense because im sure its a low flow area.
well I picked up a nice torch at the swap and last night I saw my male checking it out but not hosting it.
I just got home to see the male hosting it and playing in it which was awesome to see, what a proud owner I am. The female is still in her corner.
As im taking some pictures of the male in the torch, the female comes over and throws him out aggressively. she started nipping at him and smacking against him until she was in between him and the torch. She was hovering on top of the tips but didnt go in it. a few minutes later she goes back to her corner. He jumps back into the torch.
So what did I just expedience!? This was just great to watch it really was. Complete justification of all the time and money spend in this hobby so far.
