I need to rehome a small parrotfish that has become very aggressive to my fairy wrasses. He’s 3” and is beginning his transition.
Typical parrot behavior, really boisterous and personable, but just seems to really hate fairy wrasses specifically — he gets along with all my other wrasses: Tamarind, Melanurus, Flasher, Cleaner, Quoyi Parrot.
It is somewhat of a mystery species, typical of many Caribbean juveniles, but I am leaning towards him being a striped parrot (could also be a Princess Parrot): reference site. Hasn’t bothered any corals and grazes algae all day.
