Kalk: What's better? Stirrer? Reactor?

Hey guys so I've been thinking of adding a kalwasser reactor or stirrer to my system but the options don't seem very vast for this piece of a equipment. My biggest issue in this search is that I don't get what the difference between a stirrer and a reactor are. Does one work differently/more efficiently than the other? Also if anyone can recommend any specific one I would really appreciate it. Thanks Fortunato

Do you have links to reactors? They're most likely the same thing with two different names. I've been using Avast Marine's K1 stirrer (Build it yourself) for about a year now, and it has performed flawlessly. Coupled with a Tom's Aqualifter and ATO, it requires very little maintenance except refilling the kalk.
