kalkwasser question

i have a 210 reef tank and would like to start dosing kalk ? how much should i mix up and how much should i drip into my tank? thanks guys

u should invest in a kalk reactor best piece of equiptment i ever bought the one i have is from precision marine cost 250.00 u put one or two scoops in the reactor get a digital timer and mix for 15 mins 3 times a day.the kalk is always super saturated and it always doses the clear liquid i dode it at one dpop per second and it replaces all evaporated water.if u go with with the stir method make sure only dose the clear liquid not the powder.i would say about 2 nice scoops per 5 gal the ajust accordingly.

What size tank are you doing this to??? Because I dose an outrageous amount just to keep my ph up... I need something that will work because my cal reactor has got me ready to go anemone tank the way my ph is so low and it's not really keeping my cal and alk good at all and it clogs so I have to play with the effluent flow every other day...

i have 180 with all sps i tried useing a calcium reactor on two seperate occasions and had the same problem with ph and with and hair algae got rid of the reactor and swiched to the kalk reactor 3 years ago since then i have no more problems with either of the two.i also dose 80 ml daily b- ionic ph 8.4 cal 450 alk 9.6 i dose the b-ionic with a doser at 6am.
