Kent Tech D dip

I tried it on a coral that was not doing well and it only got worse. It was one of my prized wellsos it was doing great and HUGE my woman went to move it (I have no idea why!) I told her not to and all of a sudden it just started deteriorating over the last week or so. Everything else in the tank is doing well just this piece and the one that was in that spot before it died. I think bacteria but it's so weird only in this one specific spot of the tank. The dip is supposed to kill bacteria. Anyway the dip didn't help anyone use it?
