Kessil Sky Blue vs Ocean Blue

Have a 29 gal biocube using metal halides. Changing over to Kessil LED's. Seems llke most go with Ocean Blue. Leaning towards ocean blue myself, but seems like a slight darkness issue for some...


For those who use Kessil, hoping you might share thoughts on the colors

You could get a 350/360 dim it down and you could adjust the color to your liking and even use an apex to change the color during the day.

Glad you mentioned this. I revisited the A350 and was only $75 more so I ordered the A350w instead. I had thought it was $399 but that was for the A360. If not for your response I most likely would not have noticed so a big thanks!

Your welcome. The 350 is cheaper now because it is fazed out the 360 takes its place. The 360 is controlable with an apex and you can link them together the 350 you cannot but it is the same light. You will love it the light is great the shimmer is insane better shimmer than halides. It gives very realalistic shimmer and shadow. And the 350/360 are deep penetrating even though I keep seeing on here saying there only for 12 inches deep that's not true the wide is up to 24 inches and the narrow 36 plus. My tank is over 24 deep and I have plenty light at the sand bed. Hope you like it.

Got the 350w about a week and just lovin it. I think it is a great light!
