large tank sump ideas

I am looking to start a 300 gal tank ,I'm not sure what I should do as far as a sump .any ideas

Charlie use an arylic if you can find one or even a rubber maid..( you saw my setup with the rubbermaid I had for years) it's just easier to drill for external pumps etc...

I used a 125 and put the glass baffles and refugium into the system

See if someone is getting out of the hobby and grab a 180.

I used a 90g and 2 filter socks - no baffles needed because the distance the water has to travel provides enough time for the bubbles to disburse.

if you use a 180, half full, is 90g and a good volume addition.

U just cut glass accordingly ,, I had my asm g3 in there untill I started running my external skimmer
