Thought we had a casualty in our blue leg hermit crab, saw the body, no shell. Looked all over the tank frantically to see where the shell was... low and behold there it was on the other side of the tank...

crawling around, same crab in the same shell. The darn thing molted.

Considering Craig and I were laughing so hard at my idiocy... after a long day of spending money and longing for what we all didn't have the money to buy... I figured I'd share the laughter with all of you on MR at my expense.

dont worry that happened to me too. ive seen it molt before and i guess that its shell was as transparent and my shrimp was picking at it so i thought it had died. i was happy and mad at the crab at the same time for tricking me. along with this stunt, he also flipped over my blastos shoving them into the sand and also stabbed my brain that lil booger! dont worry we all have noob moments
