I have a 75g SPS tank. About 6 weeks ago my light broke (6 bulb 54 watt t5ho Teklight). For the past six weeks I've been running two 54 watt bulbs for 18 hrs a day. I just got my new light - another 6x54 watt t5 Tek light.

What is the best way/lighting schedule to re-acclimate the corals back to full (6x54 watt) light?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

there are a few ways of doing it...putting screenings etc... over the top and removing layers, raising the lights higher and slowly lowering them, but I find the easiest way is to just cut the photo period time down to about 2-3 hours and then every 4-5 days add a hour until your up to your desired photo period normally 6-8 hours....some may longer than 4-5 days which is Ok, but I never had a problem with that time interval....
