Light question

Just set up new lights. Was wondering If I should have the blue lights on during the day and white light on during the night, or white during the day and blue at night. Whats the best way to do this? They are kessils. Does it even matter?

Control both together and adjust them to your liking.....if you like a blue look turn blues up and lower white.

Blue then blue/white then blue. I told you this man! lol

I just have the kessils come on and go off on a timer. set to my liking and good color for optimal growth. Slowly raising the channels every few days for acclimation from my old lights.

I was just wondering if it really mattered if blues were on all the time or whites were on. I love the look of the blue anyways.

Yeah usually some people run blues before and after to somewhat create a sunrise and sunset.

I'm still trying to find out the best to tune ch 1 and ch 2 on the kessils.

Yeah I just for mine up and running. They are awesome. Only downside is manually having to adjust them everytime you want white and everytime you want blue. But they do make the tank look 100x better.

Yeah for sure. I just set it and forget it now. I don't manually tune the blues before and after. Just pop on and pop off. Fish don't mind.
