Lighting Question for 30 Gallon Long AGA

Would the Sunpod 36" 2x150w MH fixture be too much light for a 30 gallon long tank? The dimensions of the tank are 36Lx12Wx16H. The fixture would be supported on the tank legs. Hanging is not possible.

I am planning on keeping a variety of livestock-SPS, LPS, shrooms, zoos, inverts, fish.

I was also thinking about the Sunpod 30" 1x150 MH fixture but I believe the legs will not stretch enough to reach the ends of the tank.

I'm focusing on Sunpods because I read they perform well and are priced reasonably.

I have tht exact configutation for my quarantine tank. SPS, fish etc stay in there for about a month. Just use a bulb over 14k since the fixture does not come with actinics.
