cant just simply answer this question led or t5. you can find both trash lighting units and good units for both, a good t5 light will always be better than a crappy led unit. If t5 go ati or tek with kz, ati or geismann bulbs, if you go led try ecotech, ai or orphek

Its like opening the floodgates to endless debating about superior lighting...personally i like LEDs but there are some hardcore t5 n mh advocates here

Its all preference, nyself im getting rid of my AI leds and going back to T5's. Used MH for 15 years and prefer t5's
