Are you looking to hatch brine shrimp? They are only nutritious for the first 6-8 hours after they hatch.

I have noticed that some fish, such as larger anthias, cannot actually see baby brine shrimp because they are so small.

The baby brine shrimp is MOST nutritious 6-8 hours after they hatch, but I think within 12 hours is still fine if its just a treat for your fish. I would try to keep it within 6-8 hours if you're raising baby fish though.
Are you sure you are buying the BABY brine shrimp instead of ADULT brine shrimp from your LFS? The Babies are easy to hatch.
