I removed some live sand and rock from my established tank about a month ago for various reasons. I kept the sand/rock in a rubbermaid container with salt water and a waterhead to keep the water circulatating within its own contained unit. (it was not getting fresh tank water)
I now would like to place that same sand/rock and put it in a 30 gal fuge that I have built.
What is the recommended steps I should take to put sand/rock in fuge?
Should I rinse it? or just blow it off?
Thoughts/suggestions??
