Live Rock

Hi,

I am looking to buy some live rock in manhattan or the bronx for a small 5.5g fluval chi i am setting up in my office.

I would like small pieces or one big piece in a tower shape. If you have some please post or pm the information and pricing. I can pick up after 6pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends.

yo 83 just go down to manhattan aquariums !! they have really nice rock in stock and its already cured in the tank and it has a nice pinkish purple coloring to it , just like coraline! hope it helps

They didnt have any good pieces that i liked and i dont really like that kind of rock. But if i dont find anything i guess i will just have to go with that rock. Thanks for the info tho really appreciate it...

just be carefull when you buy your rock, for example i got a mantis shrimp in my tank a few weeks ago from a local shop that didnt examin the rock good enough , tyou never know what hitchhikers you can get in your tank, at least with the rock at manhattan aquariums you can stack it how you want and its very clean , no aptasia , or asterina stars for you to worry about

True, that kind of happened to me. I got some gorilla crabs with my LR when i purchased it from a local shop. Guess you never know.

no you never do know lol its a russian roulette everytime youget live rock so thats why i buy mine there or from people who are breaking down tanks at least you know its cured and ready to go with minimal harm to your tank at home.
