One of my local LFS's went bankrupt and sold all three locations. Sucks for them but it was stupid on their part (They put all their nuts in one bag to finance a "warehouse sized pet store" and the financers backed out. So their nuts got eaten from the one bag.
Anyways today they had a 50 percent off sale. I cleaned house with my credit card. I got an Orbit 4 *65watt fixture, One corallife Superskimmer (220 gal) One Superskimmer (125Gal) a heater, 5 bags of salt, and some frozen food. All half off. total savings....something like 400 dollars.
It sucks to see them go under but it leaves one remaining LFS in Jacksonville/ Orange Park, Robs Reef. my friend works there and he said now they cant even keep any fish in stock due to the demand.
