looking for Achillies Tang

Hello,

I am looking for Achillies Tang for couple months now, dose any of member saw at any local fish store?

I had them twice and didn't have much luck, first one died on me 24 hours and second one last about 2 weeks. Now, I am trying with bigger tank and better water quality.

It's not the best tang to get as they doesn't have a great track record even in large tanks. They are very skiddish and are ich magnets, they also don't come in great shape to begin with.

I believe NY Aquaria in Mamaroneck can get them! My uncle bought one from there 2 years ago and up to now he's still alive and very healthy!

try them BTW he has a 125 gal

Mine didnt last in my 180 either. but that may also be due to some aggression from my Red-Sea Sailfin.

i've seen one in great shape, pretty big too, for quite a while at reef encounter in jersey.the fish is awesome and looks very healthy, it's been there a few months, i think the price is 140.00 you might be able to bring them down though.
