Hi there,

I am a university student, and I am looking to purchase Berghia nudibranchs for my research project. Unfortunately I need the species Berghia verrucicornis, which is white with orange-tipped cerata. I have tried looking at getting them online through aquarium supply stores, and they only sell the all-white species, Berghia stephanieae. If anyone has any white nudibranchs with orange tips that eat aptasia, please let me know, I would like to buy some.

That sounds like a really interesting research project! Berghia verrucicornis can definitely be harder to source compared to Berghia stephanieae, since most aquarium suppliers focus on the latter for Aiptasia control. You might want to reach out directly to marine biology labs or university research groups, as they sometimes culture rarer nudibranch species for study.

Also, if you’re planning your studies or research abroad, the right living setup makes a big difference. Finding safe and convenient student accommodation in Sydney can help you stay close to campus and research facilities, giving you more time to focus on projects like this.
