Lost Cardinal

I posted a thread about loosing Karderin Cardinals, I can not find the thread. I have none in the tank, I purchased just one Saturday, I have not seen it sense Just like the other ones I lost over a period of a few weeks when I put them in. Any more thoughts???

I would stop purchasing them from that source and find another source of these that are captive bred, I assume these are not tank bred and raised?


I know that I have read many times that wild caught ones do not survive well and often perish in the aquarium, however, I know from personal experience that captive bred ones are very hardy.

Where can you get tank bred ones??

Bob, you would probably just have to ask your fish store where they get them. I know my local fish store sometimes gets tank bred ones when folks bring in some to trade.

Do you have any local reef clubs? Perhaps there is someone who raises babies?
