My LTA detached from the bottom and drifted into my powerhead and lost half the length of its tentacles. It's now doing fine, but stubby and still likes to leave where I want it to stay. Is there any way to keep it in one spot? My skunk clown seems annoyed by the frequent evictions.

Do you have sand? LTAs need deep sand beds to anchor themselves. They generally aren't happy with hard substrates like glass or rock. If you don't have sand, I'd personally give it up for another anemone. If you do have sand, a large diameter PVC sometimes works to keep them in place long enough to burrow their feet into the sand. However, if it doesn't do it, it either means it's not happy where you're trying to put it, or it's unhealthy.

Yeah I got a 3-4 in deep sand bed. Last night i piled sand around its base where i wanted it to be in the tank. Maybe it'll stay put now.
