Anyone ever use the Majano wand to kill apitasia?

Yes it works on aiptasia. You have to have access to the whole thing. If you miss part of it it can regenerate into smaller ones

Yes, I did, but of course I invented the thing so I may be predudiced.
My wife loves the thing and it is difficult to get her away from it. That is her only contribution to the tank.
If you want to see it work, come on over and I will demonstrate it. I am in Long Island.

Do you find that it grows back often?
Does apitasia grow on its own or does it hitchhike into ones tank?

Aiptasia grows from spores and when you get them, you may never get rid of all of them and it is an ongoing job to keep after them. No one product will do it all, every time and I feel it needs to be kept after. I don't have any aiptasia but I do have majano's. Only a few because my wife keeps after them and she loves to Zap

How does one tell difference between apitasia and majano?

Majano's are much thicker, aiptasia are clear with very thin, long tentacles and it retracts quickly into a hole if you touch it.

If you blast them w a product such as joes juice or whatever, then Cover it w glue, will they still come bk?

I don't know, try it.
I bet if you blast them with a blow torch they also may not come back. Not those same ones, but their relatives will still be there again

I covered mine with glue and they came back . I picked up a few peppermint shrimp. Did not feed for few days and they ate 6 aptasia like animals.
