Making APEX controller wireless?

Hi All

Just ordered an APEX Lite controller w/ lab grade ph probe and IO box and am psyched!

Here's my issue.

My wireless router in on the 2nd floor and my tank is on the 1st floor and are on opposite sides of my house. I won't want to run ethernet...too far and too many holes everywhere.

I've been reading up on this and see that the APEX is compatible with "bridge" routers AND gaming adapters but I'm not sure which way to go and have some questions.

I have a BELKIN Wireless N router and guess I could go out and buy another router that has a "bridge" mode...connect it to my wireless network and set it near the tank and run ethernet from it to the APEX.

Or I could buy a gaming adapter but I have no experience with them. Which is the best solution? What if I'm running WEP? I guess I could figure out how to complete the bridge and if I plug the APEX into a LAN port I'm good to go. But how would I get a gaming adapter programmed with my WEP password?

Anyone tried any of this yet?
