I've used Instant Ocean for the 5 years or so I've been in this hobby,,using the 1/2 cup per gallon ratio and making 5 gal batches. What I do is add a gallon of RO/DI water and 2 1/2 cups of salt and use a wisk to mix it like a cake, then add 2 more gallons, let it mix and warm up then the final 2 gallons and warm up. I do this simultaneously with 4 or 5 buckets at a time. Until I get a bigger pail is there a more efficient way to do this?

How big is your tank Bioman? I would do a search for a container big enough to do proper weekly water change, so you don't have to make salt water the way you have been

I use a 20 gallon brute pail, lid and dolly (wheels). I run my ro into the brute, once its full I add salt, heater and powerhead. Same time next day I do the water change.
