Mantis help

Found the rock that a small Mantis lives in. Please advise the best way to flush him out. I can take the whole rock out of the tank, except the rock is covered with VERY nice Blue Zoo's.

use a drill and small bit and make SOUP out of him!

Take out the rock and flush it with a lot of fresh water.

We do fresh water dips on zoo's all the time. Helps get rid of unwanted critters right from the get go. Won't harm the zoo's at all.

Honestly, I've never bothered with pH. I do make sure the temperature is good though. I've NEVER lost a zoo colony doing this (over four years).

Why not sell him?
I'm sure that someone will take him off your hands. How big is he, can you get a pic?

There are also traps if your scared to take out the rock. But like swimmer said flush it with fresh water. I dip polyps in fresh water and iodine all the time no problems.
