Hey i have a blue hippo tang. Hes less than a year old and less than 2". He eats mysis and brine shrimp better than all my other fish. But barely pics at all the different seaweed i put on clips for him everyday. My bicolor angel eats more algae then tang does.

Should i be worried hes not getting proper nutrition.

I soak mysis and brine in selcon and zoe and a few drops of garlic.

Also the brine are spirulina brine shrimp.

Good info. Maybe i shood feed more of the spirulina infused brine soaked with zoe and selcon.

He does nip at algae on veggei clip but not as much as i i think he needs to.

Most of that seaweed ends up breaking up in my tank which is whats making this issue even worse.

After researching the situation all week i found this...

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1362977

Which caused me to buy julian spring purple from big als.

I recieved it yesterday an put it in the tank now. Not only is the tang eating it immediately but my bicolor doesnt leave it alone and keeps chasing my cleaner shrimp (first time going after seaweed) away from it. Chromis gettin some also.
