Selling my large (~12 inch) super rare mertens carpet anemone as he is taking up too much real estate for my liking. Multi-color orange and brown with white stripes. This anemone has been in my care for over 1.5 years.

How large do they grow and are they hard to care for?

They get large (up to 2 feet) but will grow slowly if you don't direct feed often. I'd say mertens are moderately difficult to keep, similar to the level of difficulty of hadonni carpet anemones. Require a mature tank (6 months +), good stable water quality, good flow and strong lighting.
