MH lighting help

Can someone help me troubleshoot what steps to take to find out whats wrong with my MH light.

I purchased a hood a while back that includes 1 150w MH and 6 blue LEDs. Bulb was 6 months old when I bought it. THe night I cam home I plugged everything in (fixture to ballast, ballast to wall) and everything worked.

A few months have past and I tried turning the fixture on and it's not working. Could the hot weather have effected it in any way?

The 6 LEDs are working. Although, they work when the ballast is in the off or on position. Weird?
I swapped the fuse out but still nada. Any ideas?

Because the LEDs are working my ballast should be fine. Right?? Should I just buy a new bulb and hope that's the problem??

Anyone close to Clifton NJ have an old bulb lying around that I can test?

could be two things like the ballasts, bulb,do u have fans on the fixture do they come on? also who is the manufacture ???

one of the things to look at is the ballast and wireing see if any wire nuts are burnt,loose connection,is the bulb all the way in the socket

Opened the fixture tonight and found that a piece of the ceramic edging is chipped off the bulb. Anyone in NNJ have an old 150 bulb I can borrow for a few minute to confirm my bulb is bad?
