In my 120 gallon reef I have a Halichoeres chrysus and I very much want to have a Halichoeres melanurus.
I have a good sized refugium now but am planning to add a much larger one very soon. I won't get the H. melanurus until the new refugium is up and running.

ANYWAY ... my question is ...
The two Halichoeres sp. will get along well right?
I've had H. melanurus and H. iridis in a tank together before and they didn't have problems and I've seen the wholesalers mix Halichoeres sp. periodically without major drama.

Because I've always been a shrimp lover, I havent had any Halichoeres sp. in my tanks at home before - ever. So I dont know a whole bunch about having multiple ones. Since the H. chrysus is in there already I figure I'm stuck with having no shrimp. *pout*

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance :D

I think you can do it. No Thalassoma species, though, them are dickheads.
