Does this look like bleaching in the middle to you guys? There's some whiteness showing in the middle of the coral.

I recently switched from reefbreeders value to photon 24 ... My peak is only 40 blue 20 white right now so i didnt think i could bleach... oh well.

Any input would be great.... No recent change in water parameters so im guessing this light change is the culprit. Should i dial it back further?

small cream colored nudibranchs usually on the base or underside of the corals. They are small little devils who hide in tiny crevices. Dips are pretty effective against adults but the eggs are hardier. Hopefully you dont have them, but its worth taking a look into.

I just caught 2 on a monti a couple nights ago.
Very similar situation.

I waited until lights out for while & spoted them with a flashlight.

I was able to dip the coral in bayer, they came right off.
Hopefuly your are able to dip the coral.

Well, i just took out what i could.... a small piece is very attached to the rock and it didnt come up... dipped in coral rx and didnt find anything. i mounted 2 pieces that looked like there wasnt damage done onto plugs.

I guess ill look at the piece thats attached to the rock after lights out...

Maybe i broke this monti apart for no reason haha.... i doubt it though.
