well, this is one of my first few posts (though I registered a while ago) and I figure a good start would be to share my tanks! first is my 75g reef, which this thread will be dedicated to. I also have a smaller, 29g reef, but that tank is really just going to be a frag tank.
for those who have shorter attention spans (like me) Ill make it breif. this was an upgrade from my old 20long, and is now about 7 months old. most of my time goes into this reef, as well as all my money. currently, it has mostly frags and a few small colonies.
for those of you who have longer attention spans, Ill go into a more indepth story. my aquarium keeping started when I was 10 and setup a 20H FW tank. a few years later, I started up the next step, a 29g "fish only tank". we all know what happens to those after a bit though. I eventually had two corals, and 65 watt coralife fixture I found at petco. I later pgraded to a 20L with 4 T5 HO bulbs (96 watts total) and a 20L fuge.
then I found a great deal on craigslist for a 75g stand/tank for pretty cheap. (I think it was 300bux). actaully, the guy who I got the tank from was the one who pointed me towards this forum. I set it up with 50/50 marco rocks and PA rocks, and now have this.
an FTS (recently re-did the aquascape. will have to update that)
my yellow wrasse
my pair of clowns
my lamarck's angel (with my clowns and their frogspawn)
my blenny (Fuggly)
and Fuggly eating from my hand
