If your in reef crest mode can you somehow save the speed setting so that if you accidently hit the dial it doesnt go up ???

Nope. Just roughly remember where it was set to. If its 1 or 2 LED's above or below it shouldn't matter with the flow in your tank and its easily adjustable. 1/2, 3/4, 1/4, 1/3rd power is pretty easy to set up.

You can put it on Auto-Dim mode. So if you hit the dial by accident, it'll just take it out of the Dim mode and it won't change the speed unless you touch the dial again.
