MTC HSA 250 skimmer

I also have an MTC HSA 250 skimmer that I had on my fish only tank. I recently replaced it with a reef octopus. It still works good, provided you have at least a 700 gph pump to run it.

These things go for 400 new without pump. I am looking to get 125 for it.

For those not familiar with MTC, they are Marine Technical Concepts, a well known skimmer company from Northern Jersey. They are made like brick outhouses.

Is the in sump or out or sump skimmer? Any pump with it?

They are great! I have mine over 14 years and still going strong. GLWS this is a great buy.

In sump skimmer. It does not have a pump. I used my return pump to power it, they suggest at least a sen 700 pump.
