Mushroom detached off his rock why????

I've had this nice green mushroom on a piece of live rock for about 3 month
When I came home today it wasnt on it anymore
Looks like it detached it's self why would it do that?

They just do sometimes.
It might not have liked where it was. Mine do that when they overcrowd an area.

Mine do that all the time too. Something pissed it off lighting,water flow,crab or fish hitting it, could be anything....

Every now and then my ricordia and mushroom also detach and float away, sometimes landing behind the tank. No way for me to get them out - and they die. Oh well

How's your water quality and hte other corals? If everything looks healthy and open then I would suspect just one doing it coud be nothing. If you had a bunch do it then your water quality could bre the problem.

No water is really good all parameters are on point but my pshoshates are at 0.50
