Well I was asked to put up my plans for my 180 wide AGA.
Well my best price that I have found is $600 for an All Glass 180 Reef Ready. I am going to go with the Aquatinics Constellation T5 lighting

For my skimmer I am going to go with the Octopus Model 200 Recirulating

I would like to use either Tampa Bay Live Rock
http://www.tampabaysaltwater.com/
or pick up some from Reef Systems Coral farm in Ohio depending on gas prices they are about 5 hours drive each way and have rave reviews

Im going to start out with a medium flow FOWLR and slowly change it over to a reef system. Im thinking that I might use the drilled reef ready bulkheads for a dedicated circulation system and use an over the back siphon style bulkhead to feed my sump/fuge. that will be a baffled three compartment 40 gallon tank that I have laying around. I really dont want to use metal halide lighting hence the T5 fixture that I have chosen. Im open to all suggestions.
The Conscientous Marine Aquarist by Robert Fenner is my guide in most things that I want to do, it will have the 1-2 lbs/gal live rock, a 2-3 inch sand bed. I do think that I will utilize some macro in the display just from a natural point of view. But most of the macro Im going to use will be in the refugium of the sump that will be on a reverse lighting schedule from the display for stability matters.
Well what do you think so far?
Thanks
Ryan
