my new large picasso trigger wont come out

i bought him yesterday i aclimated him put him in the tanl he went straight for my rock a few hours pass he was still there i thought he died back there i went and moved my rock he swimms nice and healthy and strong and i did this about 3 time he just keeps hiding or laying down in the back he keeps moving in the back of the rocks is this normal

Normal. New enviroment and etc...Give him some time he should eventually come out.

Triggers are pretty shy fish

How large is the fish? How about the tank? Tank mates? Lighting? Acclimation procedure?

he is medum to large the tank is90 lighting is 4 blue t5 bulbs with mh but i never turn the mh on cause i have a fowlr tank

He may hide like that for days , triggers are verry nervous fish at first
They wedge themselves into a couple of rocks in the beginning until they feel secure and
then little by little they start coming back and forth between the hiding spot
and swimming freely around the tank
Don't worry before you know it he'll be the most active fish in your tank
