Nano recommendations

There is a guy on eBay selling 3 and 5 gallon nano tanks for $35/$50 including a return pump and I am thinking of picking one up to run a seahorse and/or pipefish tank. First question - can I keep a pair of seahorses in this tank (is it big enough) and second - can someone recommend a a good nano skimmer (must fit in a 2 x 8 x 8 or 2 x 10 x10 aree). Thx.

no it's to small, i pushed my luck when i had the 12g nano dx as one, sh's require more height then lenght check out seahorse.org

You can keep about group of dwarf seahorses in a 5 gal.

and you will never see them dwarfs are about .5 " and are very hard to keep, require constant growing of bbs to feed them
