Naso sp scratching acrylic?

Does anyone here have experience keeping large Naso type tangs (vlamingii, etc) in acrylic tanks? I'm wondering how likely their spines are to scratch acrylic.

yep,thought it was my yellow belly tang..so im guessing its actually my naso lol

I've seen 'reports' of that happening... But I've had multiple tangs in acrylic tanks since 1991, and never had it happen to my tanks.

Yes, and other large tangs...there are 10 tangs in my tank now...
