I know of no skimmer that is rated for 150G that will fit into an 8"*8" except for the tunze skimmers and all the reports I've heard on here about them is that they suck. You can fit over the back skimmers in that space but they aren't designed for that water volume. Why so little space for a skimmer, its your main filtration device?

I've read the same bad reports about the Tunze skimmers but mine works like a champ, a few shots of my 9010 on a 65G and I cleaned the collection cup last night.....

Skimmer Footprint!

Hello All,

Rachid didn't measure his skimmer footprint corrrectly. He can use any skimmer with a footprint of 9 1/2" x 12" or less not 8" x 8" He originally had a CoraLife 220 needlewheel skimmer which fit his skimmer compartment but had to replace it because of his stand's height  He will need a skimmer that's 22" tall or less.

Good Luck :wink1:
